Palmers Brewery at night

Support your local by reviewing for top guide

Pubs in Dorset are some of the best in the UK, at the heart of local communities and providing a great attraction for visitors.

Now Palmers Brewery in Bridport is asking people to recommend their favourites, whether they are Palmers’ pubs or not, to The Good Pub Guide. The Guide makes its selections from readers’ reviews and comments as well as anonymous editorial visits.

‘A listing in The Good Pub Guide really helps put great pubs on the map,’ said Tim Woodrow, tenanted trade director at Palmers.

‘In a tourist area like ours that means more customers and a boost to the local economy.’

‘It’s good for West Dorset to have as many pubs as possible listed.’

Consistently the No 1 bestseller in the ‘Where to Stay / Where to Eat and Drink’ book industry chart, The Good Pub Guide book has brought you the very best pubs in Britain in which to drink, eat and stay for the last 29 years. We are proud to have some of our pubs in Bridport included in the guide. As well as some of the best pubs in Lyme Regis.

Recommending a pub is easy – by post using the forms in the Guide, add a comment on the website (www.thegoodpubguide.co.uk) or email your reviews to feedback@goodguides.com Recommendations need to be made by the end of March to be included in next year’s edition.
