John Palmer, Three Cups Consultation

John Palmer meets Three Cups group

John Palmer, managing director of Palmers Brewery, met members of the Save the Three Cups Group as part of the ongoing consultation process for the former Lyme Regis hotel.

‘The discussions were positive and amicable. I am very pleased to be working with the community to build an economically viable future for the site that benefits Lyme Regis,’ said Mr Palmer.

Mr Palmer and his representatives also attended a meeting of a working party of town councillors, district members and West Dorset planning officers in the Lyme Regis Guildhall. This was the second time this group has met to explore ways forward for the Three Cups.

‘We’re listening to what everyone has to say and we hope to produce some outline proposals for discussion and consultation in the summer, before moving on to a planning application’, said Mr Palmer.
