Pub Champions

Palmers Brewery are national Pub Champions in the British Beer & Pub Association (BBPA) 2016 Annual Awards.

The British Beer & Pub Association is the drinks and hospitality industry’s largest trade association representing 20,000 of the nation’s pubs.. The Pub Champion award seeks to recognise companies that have worked to secure pubs for future generations through investment in pubs and the pub workforce.

The judges were particularly impressed with Palmers ‘commitment to nurturing young talent within the business, offering support and guidance throughout their careers’ and the package offered to licensees which combines ‘the best aspects of their support platform with the opportunity for aspirational individuals to run their own pub.’

‘We am immensely proud to have received this national recognition for all the hard work put in by our licensees and the team at Palmers Brewery,’ said Jayson Perfect, Palmers Tenanted Trade Director.

‘Our pubs have had an amazing twelve months and we are particularly proud of the “young talent” success stories identified by the judges. This national recognition means that we can continue to attract leading industry professionals to work with us as licensees and means that we can keep investing in our pubs for the future.’
