We give all our prospective licensees a thorough insight into the business opportunities available to you in partnership with Palmers. We set out what we provide – and what is down to you. How much it costs, what you could earn and how our agreements operate. If you decide to sign-up, you do so knowing that we are committed to helping you realise your ambitions in one of our pubs.
You are not on your own. There will be regular business review meetings, with our Operations Team, who will help you build your sales and advise you on keeping your outgoings in check to maximise your profit at the end of the month.
Maintaining the pub in good repair is important for you – and for us! That is why we make sure you have easy access to Palmers Surveyors Department, for advice and guidance on all aspects of your building.
Essential to the whole process is confidential financial advice. If needed, Palmers can introduce you to specialist Licensed Trade Accountancy Practices and Licensed Stocktakers. We also retain the services of a leading national agent as part of your support package. Should their services ever be needed during your tenancy, all rates appeals and negotiations are supported by them on your behalf.
We understand that running a pub requires a good digital presence, and we offer bespoke support on everything from social media, web hosting and design, to professional looking branded emails and menu design.
Food is an increasingly important part of the offer in all pubs, and we have the skills to help you plan and produce menus, as well as talk through all aspects of kitchen matters with confidence.
If your dream pub has bedrooms, we would love to help you fill them! Palmers has over 120 bedrooms across the estate and we understand that keeping them busy is really important to the pubs.
Our wine experts are happy to offer support in selecting your wines. We can work with you through Palmers Wine Store and provide wine lists on request. Our highly qualified team can even support you with customer wine tastings and other events at your pub.
It is in everyone’s interest to keep the beer flowing. Because of that, Palmers Brewery offers in-house cellar services, available around the clock. Our Technical Services team know our cellars inside out and offer one-to-one training with you and your team.
The British Institute of Innkeeping (BII),are the professional body representing the licensed retail sector. Palmers are proud to supply your membership to this organisation.
Palmers are committed to ensuring a quality pint in all of our pubs. We provide Cask Marque accreditation across our estate.
Under the Pub Industry Framework code of Practice taking PEAT is a mandatory requirement for any new tenant or lessee who signs an agreement in England and Wales with a pub company or brewery who is a member of the British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA).
