We are so pleased to announce the opening of the King William at Catcott!

Having been closed for a couple of years whilst works were undertaken, the 17th century King William is thriving once again. A group from within the local community built a committee – The Catcott Community Benefit Society – to save the pub and stabilise its future in the village. With over 200 donations from different supporters, their goal was reached!

Working closely with Jim Jones, Tenanted Trade Director at Palmers Brewery, the committee have managed to raise funds to get the pub up and running. Everyone has worked extremely hard to get things ready for the opening this July. The aim is to provide once again a hub for the local community and beyond.

Many of the community remember the pub from way back when. They are very excited to get project pub underway!

We hope the new community arrangement is a success and can’t wait to see the pub open and flourishing once more.
