Over fifty of our free trade customers joined us at the Brewery on the 18th November for Palmers annual Free Trade Day. Customers from across the South of England took the opportunity to spend the day at Palmers Brewery.

The Red Lion at Beaminster has reopened following a transformational refurbishment. New family team Sian and Nick Dearnley are making the most of the exciting new bar and dining areas.

Licensees Mark and Lisa Ramsden of The Thimble Inn at Piddlehinton scooped a Bronze award at the Dorset Tourism Awards 2015 in the Tourism Pub of the Year category.

Cask Ale Week 2015 with Palmers Brewery was another cracking week of events, ale samples, Brewery tours, beer buses and bicycles. The Palmers Beer Bus made a return to Bridport Market on Saturday morning and thanks to some fabulous weather lots of people turned out to sample Dorset Gold and our seasonal ale for autumn.

Nettlecombe has now got a defibrillator at the Marquis of Lorne. Locals have been learning how to use it in an emergency with South West Ambulance Service Responder, Kate Fisher.

The Anchor Inn at Seatown has won the 2015/16 Sawday’s Pub with Rooms award. Sawday's inspectors chose the Anchor from their collection of almost 2000 hand-picked special places to stay in Britain.
