Independent family brewers, Palmers, have launched their Dorset Gold ale in 500ml bottles.
Dorset Gold is a refreshing and thirst-quenching golden premium ale (4.5% ABV), with full, fruity palate lightly hopped with Kent Goldings. Palmers gives 5p from every bottle sold to The Chesil Trust, a charity that helps the young or disabled discover the joys of sailing.
The bottles will be sold from our own wine store in Bridport as well in small independent retailers across the south and west of England. It will available in boxes of 12 or presentation packs of eight. The product will soon be added to the mixed presentation pack of Palmers beers, offering two bottles each of Dorset Gold, Best Bitter, Palmers 200 and Tally Ho!
‘Dorset Gold is a very successful draught ale brand for us and customers have been requesting it in bottles,’ says sales and marketing director Cleeves Palmer.
‘It’s popular with converts from lager and cider as well as traditional ale drinkers. Best served chilled at 8-10°C, it’s an ideal summer drink. Early sales are very encouraging,’ he added.
