Congratulations Team Thimble!

The Thimble Inn Wins Community Support Award

Success For The Thimble Inn at Dorchester & Poundbury Business Awards 2021

Congratulations to all at Team Thimble for scooping a top business award. The ceremony took place at the stunning Minterne House on June 24th 2021.

Sponsored by Edwards & Keeping Chartered Accountants, the award shows the level of community spirit in the area. It was one of three categories that had the highest number of entries. Each shortlisted business was said to be deserving of the award, but there could only be one winner!

Over the last 18 months community has played an important part of keeping everyone going. Which makes the award even more important at this time.

The Piddlehinton based Palmers pub is a characterful thatched Dorset country pub located in beautiful countryside just a few short minutes from Dorchester.

Helping the community

The award came as a real surprise to the Thimble Inn. It’s been a tricky time for hospitality in general over the last year and a half. The award was dedicated to all the pubs who have worked their socks off to help the community and keep the spirit alive.

Massive congratulations to all the team at the Thimble Inn, we know how much theses awards mean and are richly deserved. Well done from all at Palmers Brewery.

The bar has is always well-stocked with at least four Palmers real ales and a comprehensive wine list.
