Those who enjoy both good wine and wonderful music will be raising a glass to toast a new fund-raising partnership between Palmers Wine Store in Bridport and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
At a time when all arts funding is under pressure, Palmers has chosen to support its outstanding local orchestra in a very practical way. Five per cent of all Palmers-BSO Wine Club sales will be donated to the BSO, to be used as the orchestra thinks fit.

Both Palmers Wine Store and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra have a long and distinguished history in Dorset. The BSO, established in 1893 by Sir Dan Godfrey, has worked with some of the world’s finest composers, conductors and musicians; including Elgar, Sibelius, Holst, Stravinsky and Vaughan Williams. The orchestra serves the South and South West of England from a base in Poole, and gives up to 130 concerts annually across the region.
