Beer tie lifted on sale of Old Swan at Toller

Palmers Brewery, owners of the Old Swan at Toller Porcorum, are to lift the beer tie on the pub when it comes up for auction next month.

‘Palmers have listened to comments from the Save Our Swan group who feel that a tie would impede a sale. Because the brewery want to do all they can to sell the pub, they have lifted the tie,’ said Palmers property agent Nigel Jones of Chesterton Humberts.

The pub will be auctioned at 3pm on Thursday 16 December in Toller Village Hall.
