The New Inn Cerne Abbas has won the prestigious title of Good Pub Guide 2014 “Dorset Dining Pub of the Year” Jeremy Lee, Licensee, commented “ It’s a fantastic achievement and we are delighted to win the recognition ”

The Fox & Hounds has won yet another award at The Taste of Dorset Awards 2013. This year the pub came first in the 'Grow Your Own' category.

Rosie the skewbald mare at Wilton Riding for the Disabled has her feed, shoes and dental treatment for the next year paid for thanks to The Horseshoe Inn at Ebbesbourne Wake and Palmers Brewery.

Palmers Brewery have given £1,000 from their charity fund to the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis to help buy new seating. Artistic director Harry Long said: ‘We’ve been running this fund-raising campaign for a while and this is by far the largest single donation we’ve had"

Pre-school children at the the Fizzy Boppers pre-school dance group are enjoying their new brightly coloured pom-poms, bought with a grant from the Palmers Brewery Fund.
