Profits from the Palmers Bar at Bridport Food Festival 2015 have been donated to Help For Heroes for the second year.

Members of the Palmers Events Team have presented a cheque for £2318.40 to Mike Court, Dorset Co-ordinator Help For Heroes.

‘H4H relies on donations in order to keep offering support to our injured service personal, veterans and their families,’ said Mike Court, ‘we estimate that 75,000 service men & women and their families will require support in the future. Thank you to the team at Palmers who gave up their time to run the bar and for their continued support.’

The Palmers bar ran in conjunction with the Bridport Round Table Beer Festival, selling cider, wine, Pimms and soft drinks to the throngs who turned out to enjoy Bridport Food Festival 2015.

‘The ongoing work of Help for Heroes is hugely important,’ said Jayson Perfect, Palmers Tenanted Trade Director, ‘and I am delighted that we have been able to support them for a second year running.’
