Palmers Brewery host asbestos awareness course

Palmers Brewery hosted an asbestos awareness training course in partnership with Bruton Knowles property agents from Taunton.

Everyone working in the construction industry now has to undertake asbestos awareness training. Palmers work with a number of local building contractors and consultants and organised the course on their behalf.

Attending on the day were Mac Building Contractors, Robbie Roskell (Architectural Consultant) and Tap Tiling – all long-standing partners of Palmers.

Six members of Palmers’ own maintenance staff have also attended one of the other courses

‘We are hosting a number of asbestos awareness training days so that our local partners can get the training they need right on their doorstep here in Bridport,’ explained Wayne Causley, Company Surveyor at Palmers.

Mike Makepeace, Bruton Knowles Asbestos Consultant, said: ‘We have a good business relationship with Palmers and it’s very useful to arrange these courses in the area so that contractors can have the most up-to-date training.’
