Palmers pair in charity cycle ride

Palmers pair in charity cycle ride

Palmers Brewery head brewer Darren Batten and sales and marketing director Cleeves Palmer are in training for this year’s Coast to Coast cycle challenge in aid of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

The pair will ride the 54 miles from Watchet in Somerset to West Bay in Dorset on 20 May.

Darren is cycling with a group from his home village of Burton Bradstock, while Cleeves plans to do the challenge with two friends who are coming down from London for the event. They are among many cyclists who have entered the ride.

‘Palmers has long supported Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance – 5p from every pint of our Palmers 200 goes to the charity,’ Cleeves explained.

‘The cycle challenge is a bit of fun and the chance to prove we can go that extra mile for them!’
