Ship Inn Lyme Regis refurbished bar
JUMP TO THE GALLERY

Late December saw the Ship Inn, Lyme Regis re-sail, following an extensive refurbishment by Palmers to the entire trade space. This included installation of a sizeable commercial kitchen, comfortable banquette seating and state of the art audio-visual set up, including offering BT sport on its huge 4k screen.

The pub has been tastefully and sympathetically remodelled during the 6-week project. It is proud to be the owner of Lyme Regis’s last skittle alley at the rear.

New licensees, Claire Collins and Christian Mincher will be offering Moorish bar snacks and sumptuous main courses, cocktails, artisan coffee and of course, Palmers award winning ales.

The Ship looks set to be Lyme worst ‘best kept secret’ for watching sport as we head into the 6 Nations Rugby Championship. It also has many quiet corners to relax with pint in hand as it is set back (but just moments away) from the hubbub of the sea front and broad street.

Tenanted Trade Director, Jim Jones said “We are delighted to have continued our programme of investment with our latest refurbishment at the Ship Inn. The true character of the building really shines through, and we are over the moon to have Claire and Christian at the helm”
