John Palmer, Three Cups Lyme Regis, consultation.

Three Cups consultation starts

Palmers Brewery held the first of a series of consultation meetings this week. It was attended be local community representatives to discuss the future of the former Three Cups Hotel.

The invitation only meeting took place in Lyme Regis Guildhall on Monday 22 February. It discussed the Broad Street site and its limitations.

‘This was an exploratory meeting, part of the process of consulting widely with the local community. This will help Palmers to find an economically viable way forward for the site.’ Explained Nigel Jones of Chesterton Humberts, property agents for Palmers.

The meeting was attended by a working party of councillors and officers. They were from Lyme Regis Town Council and West Dorset District Council.

As part of the consultation process, Palmers will be meeting members of the Save the Three Cups group in March.
