Palmers have submitted a full planning application to West Dorset District Council for the multi-million Three Cups redevelopment in Lyme Regis. If planning permission is granted in the spring 2015, detailed preparatory work and tendering will be required before work can start on site.

A team from The Tanners pub proved a tour de force when they won a fun cycle ride organised by Palmers Brewery for National Cask Ale Week. Six teams set off from Bucky Doo Square in Bridport at midday on Saturday and visited eight Palmers’ pubs in and around the town.

Good progress is being made in Bridport Community Orchard thanks to a donation from the Palmers Brewery Fund. Palmers have given more than £840 this year to buy tools and materials needed by the community group.

The New inn Crene Abbas has been named Inn of the Year in the Good Pub Guide 2015. The New inn has also been awarded the county’s Dining Pub of the Year title for the third time.

The Ropemakers pub in Bridport raised nearly £2,000 for Parkinson's UK at its 25th Birthday Bash. Landlords John and Geraldine Baker celebrated the Palmers Brewery pub’s quarter century with five bands and a barbecue, plus side attractions including Indian head massages and face painting.
